This study adopts a multifaceted approach, blending traditional bra patternmaking methods with cutting-edge 3D body scanning technology. By integrating 2D pattern drafting and 3D body scans, the analysis focused on the effect of body shape on desired bra cup shape, with a particular focus on differentiating the desired bra pattern, especially the lower cup design, for flat versus round body types.
