The design and development process for women’s sports bras involves design demand research, 2D pattern creation, digital twin modeling, 3D design integration, and prototype testing. This aims to address personalized challenges, ensuring the bras are aesthetically pleasing, fit well, and functional for enhanced protection and health benefits.

This project aims to design a cost-effective solution capable of accurately tracking, analysing, and providing feedback on data tailored to cyclist athletes that surpasses the constraints of the traditional laboratory settings.
A Seamless One-size-fits more Sports Bra Design for Adolescent Girls
2023 – Present
This project aims to adopt seamless knitting technologies to design and develop sports bra designs for adolescent girls for flexible comfort, fit and protection.  It also advances material sciences knowledge on activewear and seaming techniques on the basis of breast biomechanics for young girls.  
Breast motion and deformation analysis and bra optimization design under running based on breast-bra FE biomechanical model
2023 – Present
This project aims to analyze breast motion and deformation under running based on the breast-bra biomechanical model to optimize design bra.
Ergonomic Design of Sport-specific Sports-bras and Customisation of Female Athletes
2023 – Present
This is an on-going project developing sport-specific sports bras for elite athletes of Hong Kong. The project includes bra fit assessment and bra knowledge education for elite female athletes. Based on ergonomic analysis of different sports type, customised designs will be developed for female athletes.
Three-dimensional printed bike saddle
2022 – Present
This project aims to design a bike saddle by the integration of 3D printing technology and the new innovative 3D looping structures.
